Standing up ...
:) I'm guessing you are getting tired of my Health Reports .... :P But it is going well and I am walking with crutches (short walks) ~ which is not bad on 5 weeks! All I hope is that those of you without disabilities be thankful for...
:butterflytwo: getting in a bath - unaided.
:butterflytwo: going to the bathroom - unaided.
:butterflytwo: walking through your front door - unaided.
:butterflytwo: getting out of your bed - unaided.
:butterflytwo: going to see what the kids are up to (even if they painting the walls)
... cause you do not know what you have, until it is taken away from you!

:iconphotonig: is going for an operation and it will be some time before he joins us at DA again. But even in his absence I wish him all my love and hope he recovers soon :heart:

I really wish I was strong enough to go outside with the Nikon ... but that has too wait still for a little while!

My birthday badge

Poem

I look upon her face lying on my pillow
Lit by the light of my bedroom window
Wrapped within my gently arms
Knowing she will come to no harm

I look upon her hair, soft and fair
Unable to find the words to compare
Answers she has given me in times of pain
That love and hope will visit again

I look upon her lips, moist and red
Giving me life when all was dead
She restored my heart when it was lost
Melting what was covered in frost

I look upon her breasts, firm and strong
Knowing that love could not be wrong
Slowly moving with every breath
Always knowing she was not like the rest

I look upon her hips, round and smooth
Gently touching not daring to move
I fix the sheets with delicate care
But a gentle kiss is all I dare

I look upon her face staring into mine
Filling my body as if it were wine
I close her eyes with gentle kisses
For she has answered all my wishes.

Standing up ...
:) You know the feeling you have when a baby first sits up - or stands up - or walk? Thats me this week!
:nod: I stood up! (with help, but hey, Rome (or hips) was not built in a day!) I'm getting a special boot for my broken foot this weekend and then we going to have me starting to walk! And though he may never read this - I am forever thankful to the Physio who is going to travel 160 km every coupla days to get me back on my feet!

And to the two most special people in my life ... Thank you for your trust, your motivation ~ and most of all your love!!

Just Life
:) I'm still flat on my back - but have starting to experiment with my Nikon. My physio is starting on Monday, which is going to be OUCH! But hopefully I will be able to sit up soon ... it is not so nice laying on your back 24/7! I'm just glad to have my laptop and Inet ... otherwise I would have probably had gone nuts :P

I hope everyone is doing well and :wow: can you believe that its already the middle of 2008?!?
